To what degree was the bystander behavior by ordinary Germans responsible for the Holocaust?
Germans (and others in nations that supported the Nazis) became bystanders to acts of discriminations and violence inflicted upon mainly Jewish people and others (Communists and other political opponents, people with any physical and/ neurodevelopmental disabilities, homosexuals, the Sinti-Roma people (ethnic people that have been labeled as “Gypsies”), and Jehovah's Witnesses). You will examine how and why people became bystanders as they stood by and did nothing to stop this.
